Random Babble

Its been a long night. Not that I no longer love the dark companion in pain — it has its shades written all over on me — I just want to have a peek at a ray of light to distract myself to life, if there is some, that is.

But wishes wont do it I guess; I’ll have to find a bit of kerosene and a burning matchstick to flame this round mass of flesh that keeps writhing inside the cage of my ribs.

It wont be easy to bring glow to a charred existence; I’ll have to keep stoking me within to do some life.

  1. Comment got posted before I could complete it…

Assalamoalaikum Rora, I think there is something called Hope, within us which keeps us going, which makes us happy, if we think of the purpose of our lives, it is to pass tis test of a world the way Allah wants us to, keeping from evil, having faith and doing good, even if we manage to do a little of that, it would take sadness away from us, furthermore, the strong belief and faith in Allah, faith in His Mercy, should also keep us happy and going…

If we are even having a little of faith, it should give us happiness, attachment of people and sadness due to it would ahve no benefit to us…

We should use it to get closer to Allah

It is difficult not to feel… but it is also possible to have light and purpose, InshaAllah

    1. WaalaikumAssalam sister! All are nice things you have to say; I totally agree. What I lack at times is convincing myself to all the positivity that you’ve stated above.

      Glad you commented🙂
      Dera manana!

  2. perhaps, u r unduly pressurizing yourself enough with this ‘wannabe optimist’. lower the posti bar, just being an Aadil is great as well.🙂

    1. Without this ‘wannabe’ tag I would’ve long been sucked by the abyss of pessimism but yes I’m losing at the efforts of clinging onto optimism. I should rather flow with the flow ..

  3. I’ll have to find a bit of kerosene and a burning matchstick to flame this round mass of flesh that keeps writhing inside the cage of my ribs.

    Sounds gruesome😦
