Speak!

Finding mirth in

strangling the words

even before their birth

is sadistic.

Floating hush to

the ears eager to hear

the utterance of ‘love’

is insanity.

Wiping stains

of emotions of the face

is no gain

but self-deception.

Love is vanity

without the symphony

of reverberating melody

expressed in vigorous words.

True, but becomes a necessity at times. Much as we wanted to, we can’t always show our raw emotions๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  3. @nadia .. yes exceptions are always there especially in our social circles we have to put fake emotions on our faces lest we’re considered indecent. Thanx for commenting!๐Ÿ™‚

Awesome!! But do you really think ‘reverberating’ melody is that important?
But even-if it is sadistic, insanity, self-deception love is love only!

  5. @neilina .. silence, sometimes just doesn’t do the work. While it is true that love doesn’t necessarily require to be conveyed through verbal assurance yet ‘reverberating melody’ does set the atmosphere alive.
And you are quite right that love is love only even if it is sadistic, insane or appears to be self-deceptive.

takhayyul ki kokh mein janam leti soch ko dabaa dena
    zulm hi to hai
Izhar-e-ishq sunnay ko beqaraar samaat ko sula dena
    nadaani hi to hai
woh rukhsaar se nishaan-e-gham mita dena
    khud farebi hi to hai
woh khudsar lai-aur-taal se benayaaz sa jazba
    Ishq hi to hai!
